CSD IS A 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us and helped us to achieve this goal. We are still in the process of learning what this means for CSD, the work we do, and the community as a whole, but we are thrilled for this new chapter of independence.

CSD’s is using a donation platform called Givebutter. Feel free to use this portal to make a one time, or on-going donation to help support CSD and all it’s programming.

2018 KNIGHT ARTS CHALLENGE DETROIT RECIPIENT

In the fall of 2018, Collective Sweat Detroit was awarded a $20,000 match grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, as part of the Knight Arts Challenge Detroit. Over the next two years this support will allow us to continue offering consistent and affordable weekly contemporary dance class and introduce new programming to create more opportunities for professional dance artists in Detroit.
